Last updated October 9th, 2020

As of Sunday, September 13th, we are meeting publicly again at Pinewood Church! BOTH services are available; our Traditional Service at 9:00am, and our Contemporary Service at 10:30am. BOTH services meet in The Sanctuary. If you are unable to join us for in-person worship services, the sermon will continue to be available on the website and app on the following Monday.

Childcare will be provided Sunday mornings at the 10:30 service ONLY. There will be no 9:00 Sunday school for children. As always, children are welcome to join you for worship in person if you feel comfortable. If you are checking in kids, please use the Nursery entrance to do so. This entrance will be open ONLY to those checking in children. Please refer below to the CM Health and Safety Agreement for more information about check-in procedures and what you can expect on Sunday.

A few reminders before you join us on Sunday:
- ONLY the entrances at S1/S2 and S3/S4 are open to enter the church. Please be sure to use one of these two doors.
- Please follow all instructions for seating on Sunday mornings. Only every other pew will be open for seating, and the pews in use will rotate between services.
- Masks on campus are encouraged, but not required. Masks are provided outside of each Sanctuary door.
- If your health or profession requires you to wear a mask, there is a Mask Required section available in The Sanctuary. If you need assistance, please ask a Deacon or a Staff member and they will be happy to point you in the right direction.

**For the safety and protection of our entire congregation, please DO NOT attend if you or someone in your family has been sick, is feeling unwell, or is/has been running a fever. In addition, please do NOT attend if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Please be sure to read the document linked below which details the precautions we are taking on campus and what you can expect if you choose to attend the service on Sunday.

What You Can Do To Help

Love

In order to best love our neighbor, we encourage you to please stay home if you are feeling unwell, exhibiting symptoms, or are susceptible to illness. If you do have to go out, use a wave or smile and refrain from handshakes and hugs. Along with these mindful steps to avoid the spread of germs, please familiarize yourself with the CDC recommendations.

Pray

Prayer is our greatest defense against fear and anxiety during times of uncertainty. Please join us in prayer for protection, quick containment of this virus, and ultimate healing for those who have been directly affected. We are praying for wisdom in our response to the outbreak. Though these circumstances can cause anxiety and fear, we know that God is sovereign over all.

Give

While we navigate this new climate, we encourage you to continue to be faithful in the giving of His tithes and our offerings. Your continued support allows us to meet our core mission, and continue to serve our congregation and community in uncertain circumstances. You may give online using the link below. Please call Bill Work, Business Manager, if you have questions about the many ways available to financially support Pinewood Church.

Engage

We are currently beginning a phased reopening plan that includes resuming our His City Kids and Student Ministry programs, as well as adult Community Groups, Small Groups, and bible studies. Please connect with us by visiting our Get Connected page! If you are unable to join us during this time, there are a large number of past sermons available you to watch or listen to from the comfort of your home at any time.
