In October 2024, we launched Pinewood Church for Care Portal, whose purpose is to create connections within circles of care around an isolated child. Families, churches, and communities are brought together to create a healthy approach to caring for kids. Whether Pinewood responds, or a community of churches, businesses and individuals work together, CarePortal makes vital connections possible through an easy-to-use online platform. Every request presents the opportunity for churches to make meaningful connections.

Our goal is to respond to 2 CarePortal requests per week. Since October 2024, we have trained and qualified 26 Responders to assist with responses.

  • Pray that as a congregation, we would be granted passion for this ministry.
  • Pray for financial contributions to support our CarePortal ministry; this funding gives us the ability to respond generously and often.
  • Pray that we are able to meet our goal of responding to 2 requests per week.
  • Pray for Libby Lee, CarePortal Coordinator, and our team of trained CarePortal Responders, as they go out into the community to respond to requests. Pray for safety and for the Lord to use them for His will.
