Mission Statement
Our adult Sunday school program seeks to declare and demonstrate the gospel by equipping believers to develop their new life in Christ. Through in-depth biblical study, meaningful fellowship, and practical discipleship, we provide a space for spiritual growth, deepened faith, and the application of God’s Word in everyday life, empowering adults to live as mature followers of Christ.

The Person of Jesus: Faith
Led by John Campbell and Rick Roberts in Room 4 (S4)
Person of Jesus explores how to love by looking at the one truly good man, Jesus. Author Paul Miller’s winsome insights into the biblical Christ combine with an energetic, interactive format to lead Christians and seekers alike to marvel at the beauty of Jesus. In Unit 4, Faith, Jesus reveals to his disciples how faith in God gives us the energy to love.

Moses begins his address to Israel’s second generation with an overview of Israel’s forty-year history from the time they left Mount Sinai. While he mentions Israel’s disobedience at Kadesh Barnea (Deut. 1:19-46), he particularly emphasizes the work of God in leading Israel and in defeating those who oppose it. He also has strict warnings for Israel to obey the Covenant or else they will pay a terrible price. He ends with the coming transition to Joshua’s new role as leader of God’s people.

This interactive 5-week class will explore the biblical foundations and global scope of God’s work; help you recognize where God is already at work, clarify the unfinished task, and help you identify practical ways that you can play a part in what God is doing throughout the world.
