Sunday School

Mission Statement

Our adult Sunday school program seeks to declare and demonstrate the gospel by equipping believers to develop their new life in Christ. Through in-depth biblical study, meaningful fellowship, and practical discipleship, we provide a space for spiritual growth, deepened faith, and the application of God’s Word in everyday life, empowering adults to live as mature followers of Christ.

Fall Sunday School Class Offerings

The Person of Jesus: Honesty
Led by John Campbell and Rick Roberts in Room 4 (S4)
Honesty explores how to love by looking at the one truly good man, Jesus of Nazareth, through an energetic, interactive format that will help both Christians and seekers alike to marvel at the beauty of Jesus. This Fall we will examine how Jesus' compassion is balanced by his stunning, others-centered honesty. Jesus is completely free from other people's opinions, which enables him to speak truth into their lives. Join us this Fall, as we learn more about Jesus AND learn how we can become more like Him.
Relational Wisdom: RW360
Led by Pastor Dennis Griffith in Room 3 (S3)
RW360 introduces us to the benefits and practical applications of relational wisdom and emotional intelligence. These theologically sound and biblically-based principles have the potential to impact every area of our lives, including  spiritual health, family and friendships, and even workplace performance and career advancement.

Old Testament Survey
Led by Pastor Ren Zepp in the Choir Suite
Chronological surveystudy of the Old Testament’s 39 books. We will spend one to two Sundays on each book depending on the contents of the book. This study will concentrate on how all the books relate to the coming of the Messiah. This study will hopefully open up the Old Testament or (Hebrew Bible) for those who are not sure how to read and study it.
Waiting Isn't a Waste
Led by Dr. Dan Kerley in Room 2 (S2)
Waiting is hard. Waiting for the test results. Waiting for my prodigal child to return. Waiting as a single adult. Waiting for my work situation to improve. Waiting to get pregnant. Waiting is hard. And yet, the waiting gaps are a vital part of God’s design for your life. In Waiting Isn’t a Waste, author Mark Vroegop calls believers to resist the urge for control and depend on Christ as we wait for the uncertainties of life to unfold.  As we journey together, we will explore what it means to embrace waiting and receive the wisdom and peace that God delights to give to those who wait on him.
