Nursery (9 and 10:30am)
Pinewood provides seven well-equipped and sanitary Nursery rooms to accommodate our youngest children. Children 2 years and under are grouped according to age and developmental level. Our staff and volunteers are committed to love, care and pray with your children. Toddlers are taught age-appropriate Bible lessons in a safe and cheerful environment.
Sunday School (9:00am)
Children birth through 5th grade are taught by gifted, committed volunteer Sunday School teachers, utilizing a Christ-centered, doctrinally sound curriculum which progressively teaches the entire Bible from the Book of Genesis to Revelation.
Pre-K and Kindergarten Worship (10:30am)
During PreK & Kindergarten worship, children learn the truth of God’s stories through a variety of activities: classroom centers, large group story presentation, music, and small group discussion. The program is designed to apply the Bible to their daily needs in an upbeat, interactive environment.
His City Kids Worship (10:30am)
We offer Children’s Worship for children in 1st through 5th grade. Children begin in worship with their parents, and then will be dismissed just prior to the sermon for a special time of prayer, singing, and Bible teaching.
Pingo Notes: If your children prefer to remain with you in the service, we offer Pingo Notes to for them to use during the service. “Pingo” is derived from the Latin term for “I draw”. These notes were designed to help children engage in the sermon in a fun, hands-on way. Pingo Notes are available in the back of both The Chapel and The Sanctuary.
