Parking lot construction

We are thrilled to announce that our Pave the Way Parking Lot Project will begin on Monday, June 22nd, 2026! This project will be done in two phases and will take a total of 60 to 90 days to complete. We ask for grace and patience as we work together to accomplish this task that we have all been waiting for! Please see below for the current instructions on navigating the parking lot while it is under construction.

Phase 1 Driving Instruction Video

For complete instructions on Phase 1 construction changes to our parking lot and traffic flow, please take a few moments to view this video. The diagrams below detail the specific instructions given in the video for weekday and Sunday visits to the Pinewood Campus. If you have questions, please contact the Church Office at 904-272-7177.

Phase 1 Driving Instructions

Monday - Friday Instructions

  • During weekday visits, you will need to enter and exit through our single entrance on the right side, just like a single-lane road. Enter the parking lot down the driveway, then turn at the brick pump house to get where you need to go. There will be no double-lane exiting.
  • All access to the church must be through the South Sanctuary doors, the nursery door, or the back side of the chapel.  Please call the Church Office at 904-272-7177 to coordinate access.
  • If you are attending an event in the WDC building (i.e. Warehouse events or school events), you must enter through the first entrance on the left (school hallway doors). All other entrances to the WDC are closed.

Sunday Morning Instructions

On Sunday mornings, we will be about 80-100 parking spaces short. In order to maximize our parking spaces on Sunday morning  worship services:
  • we suggest that families ride in one car.
  • we encourage carpooling with friends and neighbors.
  • we ask for much patience as we navigate this project together!

Before Sunday Service

  • Enter down the driveway side.  You will not be able to turn right immediately.  All traffic will flow down the driveway towards the split at the pump house.
  • We ask that all able-bodied people continue straight to the grass behind the playground.  Please wear appropriate shoes. We will have a golf cart shuttle, and you may also use the school office corridor to shorten the walk.
  • If you have a handicap sticker, are a Senior Saint who needs to park close, or are a family with children in the nursery or VPK, you will be allowed to turn right at the split by the brick pump house to park close to the church.

After Sunday Service

  • If you parked in the grass, please take your time leaving.  It will be easier if the parking lot area can be cleared out first.
  • The exit near Knight Boxx will become a double-lane exit.  There will be no way to enter during this 30-minute timeframe.
  • If you are turning North onto Knight Boxx (towards Blanding), you must maneuver to exit on the left side.  If you are exiting south, towards 220, you must use the driveway and turn right.
  • If you get stuck and can’t get to the correct lane, just follow the flow of traffic and turn around somewhere down the road.

Dashboard Signs

If you have a handicap sticker, are a Senior Saint, or are a family with children in nursery or VPK, and you do not yet have a parking sign for your dashboard, you may pick one up in the Grand Hall on Sunday, or contact Libby Lee, Office Administrator at [email protected] to schedule a time for pick up.

Parking Lot Team

If you would like to join our Parking Lot Team to help facilitate Sunday Morning efficient parking on Sunday mornings, please contact Jake Thomas, Director of Facilities, at [email protected]. We are thankful for your willingness to serve in this way as we navigate a fluid construction project throughout the summer!
