Welcome One Another
What does it really mean to welcome someone? Not just a handshake or a friendly smile, but truly making room for another person in our lives. Romans 15 brings us face to face with one of the most challenging yet transformative calls in the Christian life: welcoming one another as Christ has welcomed us. The passage draws a striking contrast between how naturally we open our arms to those outside the faith and how reluctant we can be to fully receive our fellow believers, especially those who differ from us in personality, maturity, or conviction. The spiritual lesson here cuts deep. Christ did not welcome us because we were easy to welcome. He received us in our weakness, at great cost to himself, and long before we had anything figured out.
